At the office, I'd like to think I'm a quiet person. I don't really talk unless it's really necessary, and so far after almost 4 years working, it's gotten me this far alive.
It's not that I don't like talking to people, but..I'm an introvert. (I've talked about it here.)
So as you've probably known, we had a massive restructuring last March - and there were a lot of changes within the company. It was not a good time for the organisation, and it was the first time I've ever gone through such drastic change in my working career - uncertainties were everywhere and people were depressed, agitated. I'm not allowed to say anything about this, though I think the public have known that much.
But all is good now; we're in good hands Alhamdulillah. My office remains, but..my GM is leaving - as a result of the restructuring, she's appointed to head a different section within the company sobs.
And I was appointed as the person-in-charge for her farewell party's decor.
Taking a break from packing and unpacking our 2-years worth of stuff to post this WIWT entry. Yes, we're moving to a new house!
The apartment we've lived in from the start of our marriage is belonged to a businessman, whom we regard as a parent. He's a nice person and we loved living there (Rayyan practically born there and it was the house he grew up in) but due to a certain circumstances, we have to move on to a new house after living there for 2 years.
So this WIWT is basically the last WIWT I took in the apartment.
..., another one opens!
Ever since I gave up on skinny jeans, I feel like I'm being introduced to a whole new world of..pants.
First, culottes. I love them, I still do. I find myself reaching out for them far more frequent than my skinnies before.
And now, these pants, from Mimpikita, has rocked my world the way skinnies never did.
I just turned 29 recently!
And here's the summary of my first day as a 29 year old, with a husband and a kid :
Pre-birthday celebration dinner
The night before my birthday, husband took me to this steakhouse restaurant overlooking KLCC, where we celebrated our anniversary before we got married 2 years ago.
So, this March marks the date our OPU CEO was leaving. He's retired, but he's still supporting us by holding the position until this year - before being called to transfer to another division within the company.
Last week, we held a farewell party for him. He was invited to give a speech and share his leadership journey - dated 30 years back!
So I attended the talk.
