Got more skirts from Zara to accommodate my growing belly. I shall make a section in my wardrobe of just "Zara skirts" haha.

This weekend, the husband and I had our own mission - to get everything on the hospital bag checklist.

It actually stemmed from our previous visit a few weeks ago to my cousin's who just had her baby - who was born one month earlier; at 8 months of her pregnancy, due to preeclampsia. When listening to her labor story, the husband suddenly turned to me and said,
"She gave birth at 8 months - that's like less than 4 weeks from now. We don't have our hospital bag ready yet!"

The girls haven't been to our new apartment (the one we rent at the moment, until we can officially move into the new place yay) yet, and they won't shut up about it.
"Where's our next venue for brunch?"
"Atil's house lah mana lagi"
"...but I'm too tired to cook for you guys"
"Nvm, we're not picky. Can order food"
See, such nice thoughtful friends I have. Haha.

During our work trip, we were lucky because..

We have one Sunday off!

It doesn't usually happen during trips like these - we always have to take the first flight home available, even on weekends - except that this time, the first flight home available was on Monday evening.

So..the boss being the boss,
"Where do you feel like going over the weekend? We can't just spend Sunday in the hotel room in Europe"
"Why not Berlin? It's only, like, 3 hours by train from here"
And off we go to Berlin!

Saw this and fell in love.

7 months now.

And we've found out the gender!

IT'S A BOY!

Le husband's reaction?
"Ok so this one will be the goalkeeper"

What I've been eyeing on for weeks from Bowerhaus (another brand under the awesome Sereni & Shentel!), handed to me last week as a surprise gift.

"Why don't you ever cut your hair?"
Basically what I've been hearing from Shahrul ever since we got married T.T

So being the #obedientwife, of course I had to give in. Had to agree though; my hair was getting too long and being pregnant, it was too much hassle and high maintenance - for the first time, I longed for shorter do.

Not sure if it's the hormones, but my digestive system seems to not prefer rice lately. Found myself drooling over breads and soups all the time; instead of the usual rice with chicken or beef dish!

So when we were at IKEA last week to get some stuff for the house, I dragged the husband to Dome next door (The Curve), knowing they have any kind of mushroom soup and garlic bread I could satisfy my stomach.
