Warning: This is a very long, lovey-dovey post. You’ve been warned.

So today is our first anniversary of being married. And I’m stuck here in Kansai Airport all by myself waiting to check in to the hotel. What a great way to spend your first anniversary. Whoa time sure flies so fast. You sure tend to notice things when you’ve reached a certain milestone.

I promised the wife to write something here every once in a while (once a year to be exact) and God knows how long it has been since I last wrote here. I’m a very slow writer, I’d even take an hour just to post something on Facebook. And so I just gave up. What’s the point in venting your feeling for the world to see? See when you got married you have your partners to do that haha.

This week has been quite a difficult week for me.

Why?

Because we started sending Rayyan to his nanny since I'm starting work soon T.T

(I'm actually posting this for the sake of my sanity before this blog turns into an obsessive mommy blog filled with Rayyan's pictures.)

Once upon a time, I had my bracelets phase. It was back in nihon when I had access to Rakuten i.e. everything on earth, so obtaining them wasn't that hard and even came in a lower price tag compared to retail prices. I had those days when I decided to buy the House of Harlow famous Aztec bangle one day, received it the next day and fell completely in love with it that I decided to get another 2 of them in different color.

Was transporting pictures from camera to my laptop when I found this gem.

My last OOTD while pregnant haha. This was when I was entering 9 months, hence the puffy face.

It's almost midnight and we just got back from grocery shopping, and Rayyan who usually would sleep through outings this time seemed restless and didn't want to sleep. We bottle fed him, burped him, held him in our arms but still he was awake. He refused to sleep; even though he was yawning like mad.

He was tired, I think.

Last few weeks, the husband broke the news to me.

"Umm..my boss asked me to go for a business trip to Japan sometime in April. Do you wanna go?"

Dude, I'm on my fully paid 2-month maternity leave. Of course I do!!

So I began planning the trip at the back of my head - upon receiving the itinerary of his business trip, which tells me he'd have at least 2 days free of any activities and he'd have to take his clients jalan-jalan around Osaka (where he'll be working during his trip); I immediately Googled some places I knew I'd want to go.

(Insert the word 'outlet' somewhere here.)

...no blogging in 7 days? Is completely acceptable.

It ain't easy though.

Rayyan has just fallen asleep, and I'm taking this opportunity to do the laundry, fold clothes, cook, and check Instagram. These things, are only accessible to me when Rayyan is sleeping because when he's up, that means he'll need to be fed.

Nighttime to early mornings are the worst.
