sayonara, 2023!

So it's officially the last day of work for 2023!

Wow, that feels weird considering I've never thought I'd be employed by end of 2023 haha.

2023 means so much to me you have no idea.

2022 was a lot of things - moving abroad, leaving the life we've known forever and bringing the 3 rascals to enter a new chapter of their lives, trying new things, learning new vocabs and laws and regulations, exploring new places, I can go on and on.

But 2023 feels like a fresh start. I couldn't wait to ditch my old career back in 2022 and start my new life as a housewife, because I thought that was my dream. But as months go by, I find myself getting more and more restless being at home doing nothing - well, not nothing, of course, I have a lot to do at home! - but I truly miss working.

As much as I hate to admit it. I love doing what I do best, and I took the chance when it came, and never looked back. Now, it's been 3 months at my current company, and I love every single minute of it.

I know time with my kids are slowly going away, but I also want them to look at their mommy and be proud. The line of work I'm doing now is a completely new territory, but I'm learning every single day.

God knows what 2024 holds for me, but I think I'm ready.

P/S: putting a photo of Fuji-san here to remind me that I should go back to Fuji-san in 2024, insyaAllah!
